Issue 1: Come in – the door’s open!

You do not even have to leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. Do not even listen, simply wait. Do not even wait, remain still and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you unasked. It has no choice. It will roll in ecstasy at your feet.
–Franz Kafka

Welcome to the Literary Bohemian, a love child that bespeaks a passion for words and a predisposition to itchy feet.

First things first. What is a bohemian? A bohemian is analytical and artistic, easy, erudite, free, frugal, open, idealistic, idle, intellectual, imperfect, immoral, itinerant, romantic, unconventional, vagabond, wandering and well-travelled.

A Literary Bohemian is some or all of the above, and wants to read and write about it.

Make yourself comfortable in our virtual overstuffed chairs. Explore us as you would a dusty old bookstore, a forgotten attic room, or a foreign sleeper car.

We will take you places.
