Christopher Chambers has lived in Wisconsin, North Carolina, Michigan, Minnesota, Florida, Alabama, Texas, Louisiana, and Wisconsin again. He’s worked as a farmhand, a carpenter, a bartender, and a lifeguard. He’s worked in a warehouse, in a slaughterhouse, and in an English department. He’s repossessed cars. He’s an erstwhile Teamster and he’s given up tenure. He’s taught writing in high schools and universities, and now teaches in community centers and in prisons and works as a bartender. He is the author of Delta 88, a book of short fiction, and editor of Midwest Review.
