David Havird taught for thirty years at Centenary College of Louisiana. In 1991 he was a visiting professor at the University of Aarhus in Denmark. For many years he traveled with students to Greece in May and Paris in August. He is the author most recently of Weathering (Mercer University Press, 2020), a “chimeric omnibus” of poetry and prose memoir.
